Adam Sells, a goalkeeper coach, previously with Charlton Athletic and, at the time, with Crystal Palace identifies the need for a high-end specialist goalkeeper brand. After distributing for French brand BGB and launching the Selsport brand, Adam Sells and Chris Tyler set up Sells Goalkeeper Products; a brand focussed on producing innovative and high performance gloves and accessories of the highest quality. An "S", a "G" and a "P" are bundled together to form a logo and the brand is born.
